The Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills offers a Bereavement Support Group for individuals grieving the loss of a loved one. The group provides an opportunity to share emotions with others going through a similar process.

The Bereavement Group is led by the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills social worker, Mary Lou Daley, LCSW, and Anne Kelleher, Manager of Volunteers.

The support group provides a very necessary outlet for the emotions of someone who has had a loved one pass away,” stated Ms. Daley. “Sharing grief with others in similar circumstances is very therapeutic.”

Meetings are held two times a month, the second and fourth Weddnesday, from 10:30am until 12:00pm at the Visiting Nurse Association located at 200 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge.

There is no charge for the support group, but pre-registration is required and may be accomplished by calling 908-766-0180 ext 142. When you call to register ask for specific directions to the room.
