The Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills offers a Bereavement Support Group for individuals grieving the loss of a loved one. The group provides an opportunity to share emotions with others going through a similar process.

The Bereavement Group is led by the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills social worker, Mary Lou Daley, LCSW.

The support group provides a very necessary outlet for the emotions of someone who has had a loved one pass away,” stated Ms. Daley. “Sharing grief with others in similar circumstances is very therapeutic.”

Meetings are held two times a month, the second and fourth Wednesday, from 10:30am until 12:00pm at the Visiting Nurse Association located at 200 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge.

There is no charge for the support group, but pre-registration is required and may be accomplished by calling 908-766-0180 ext 242. When you arrive at the VNA ask the receptionist for specific directions to the room.
