The Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills has been a vital asset to our community for over 100 years, providing essential medical and home health services in Morris and Somerset counties to thousands of ill, shut-in and elderly patients. Over the years, our space needs have changed as our services have increased and evolved in response to the changing healthcare needs of the community. The foresight of yesterday’s leaders resulted in a home for the VNA that has served us well for nearly 100 years. However, the VNA has grown and the viability of our programs can not be limited by the boundaries of our current facility.
Our organization needs your support as we seek, through our Centennial Campaign, to raise the $8.85 million needed to fund construction of a new headquarters on Mount Airy Road in Basking Ridge. This facility will enable the VNA to fulfill the community health and education needs of the residents of Somerset and Morris counties for the next 100 years. The additional space will allow the VNA to house all of our programs and staff, as well as provide space to expand our Telehealth Program and double the capacity of our Somerset Hills Adult Day Center, which will be relocated to this site. In addition, on the same site, Somerset County will construct a building to house the Somerset County Wellness Center, allowing the County to expand the services they offer seniors in the northern part of Somerset County.
Won't you join the many members of our community who have already contributed so generously to our Campaign? Help us ensure that the VNA will continue to serve our wonderful communities for many years. Click here for more information on how you can help.
