Spring Cleaning for a Cause
Donate Items for the VNA of Somerset Hills’ Spring Rummage Sale

Donate April 5-23, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sale Dates: May 2-4

BASKING RIDGE, NJ – New Jersey’s oldest and largest rummage sale, hosted by the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills, will accept donations for the spring sale Mondays through Saturdays beginning Saturday, April 5 and ending Wednesday, April 23 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Far Hills Fairgrounds. Proceeds from the rummage sale are utilized by the VNA to support the Hospice and Respite programs. Volunteers will be at the Fairgrounds waiting to greet donors and their items.

WHAT: Drop-off days for spring rummage sale

WHERE: The Fairgrounds, Route 202, Far Hill, New Jersey

WHEN: April 5th April 23rd, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, except Sundays

DETAILS: All donated items must be in good saleable condition. For example:

Clothing, Shoes & Clothing Accessories: Clean items in good to excellent condition. NO clothes with stains, tears, worn elastic bands, broken zippers, or missing buttons; NO shoes without buckles or laces; NO belts that are tattered and worn.
Electrical: Clean items in working condition. Vacuum cleaners less than 10 years old with all parts.
Furniture: Must be in good to excellent condition. Luggage in excellent condition; NO locked luggage without keys or combination. Car seats must be manufactured within past 5 years.
Household/Kitchen: Clean, saleable items in good condition. Pots and pans without lids are acceptable. Tupperware and other containers must have lids. NO items that are broken, chipped, or missing pieces.
Toys: Clean and complete games and puzzles, stuffed animals, dolls and toys. NO large plastic toys that are broken, missing pieces or split parts.

HOW TO DONATE: Bring donations to the Far Hills Fairgrounds at specified times. Enter through lower gate following signs for assistance.

SALE DATES: Friday, May 2nd, Saturday, May 3rd, from 9:30am to 3:30pm and Sunday, May 4th from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM
