GOT CLUTTER? RUMMAGE SALE DONATIONS BEGIN SEPTEMBER 5
VNA Rummage Sale Proceeds Benefit Local Home Health Care Programs

BASKING RIDGE, NJ (August 25, 2009) – Area residents are asked to donate clean and saleable goods for the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills’ Fall Rummage Sale. Collection dates begin Saturday, September 5 and run through Wednesday, September 23, every day except Sundays. Donation times are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Far Hills Fairgrounds, on the corner of Route 202 and Peapack Road, in Far Hills.

The VNA will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey during the donation drop-off dates and times. The Fall Rummage Sale dates are Friday and Saturday October 2 and 3, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 4, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the volunteer-run rummage sale go directly to the community to support the VNA’s programs and enable the VNA to care for those who are uninsured or under-insured in Somerset and Morris counties. Whatever is not sold at the end of the sale is donated to other area charities.
