Community Health & Wellness

We are dedicated to promoting good health and wellness. Our high-quality, cost-effective programs help all our Morris and Somerset County neighbors remain active and independent members of the community. Contact us for further information about any of these services.

HYPERTENSION SCREENINGS
Blood pressure screening clinics are available monthly at various locations in Morris and Somerset counties including senior centers, private senior groups and senior housing locations.

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
A Registered Nurse is available to assist individuals with management of their medications on an ongoing basis.

CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP (FARE)
Our caregiver support group (FARE) is a group for those caring for an elderly or disabled loved one. Group members enjoy unbiased support from peers, educational programs and discussion of caregiver resources and stress management techniques.

RESPITE CARE
Our Respite Care program offers Somerset County families short-term relief from the everyday fatigue and stress of caring for a frail or disabled adult. Services are available in case of emergency, or to allow the caregiver the opportunity to take a vacation, attend a family function, or simply get the break needed in order to be able to continue to tend for the care recipient.

BEREAVEMENT SUPPPORT GROUP
We offer a bereavement support group to all members of the community who are grieving following the loss of a loved one.

GERIATRIC CARE MANAGEMENT
Our program is designed to help the elderly and their families with the challenges of aging and planning for long-term care. A nurse provides an in-depth assessment of the older person’s needs, and together with the family, develops a plan of care that addresses their needs.

FLU SHOT CLINICS
Flu shots are available on a seasonal basis at no charge to people who have Medicare Part B and for a $25 fee to non-Medicare patients.

CHILD IMMUNIZATION CLINICS
Through our partnerships with local Boards of health, immunizations are available to all uninsured children from birth through age 18. Contact us at 908-766-0180 for further information.
