We offer our patients and their caregivers an opportunity to supplement services not covered by health insurance policies. Receive the extra assistance with daily care needed to help loved ones recovering or living with illness or a disability. In addition, our Private Care Services help provide a simplified transition to or from skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.

All of our Private Care patients receive a customized Plan of Care prepared by a VNA Registered Nurse and on-going assessments. Feel secure that skilled nursing or other medical and support services are always promptly available through internal referral if necessary.

Our team includes Registered Nurses, highly qualified Home Health Aides certified by the NJ Board of Nursing and Companions. All are employed directly by the VNA of Somerset Hills, have received mandatory background checks and drug testing. Aides are supervised by a VNA of Somerset Hills Registered Nurse, receive mandatory on-going trainings, are uniformed and provide their own transportation.

SPECIALIZED SERVICES INCLUDE:

• Personal care and grooming
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Bathing and dressing

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Proper management of medication is essential to maintaining good health, an active lifestyle and the ability to remain living safely and independently at home. VNA nurses can help. Our program includes home visits, assistance with ordering and organizing medications and consultation with the physician when necessary.
