Volunteers are an essential and valued part of the VNA of Somerset Hills team. We are grateful for the hundreds of devoted individuals that generously donate their time and experience in support of our mission. Ouur volunteer network offers many unique and challenging ways to become a part of our family.
Rummage Sale
Join more than 350 volunteers and be part of our semi-annual rummage sale, the major fundraiser for the VNA.
Hospice and Home Care
Provide respite for caregivers, caring companionship to our patients, assistance with errands, or sometimes transportation for necessary medical appointments. Free training will be provided. Read our Hospice Volunteer FAQs.
Friendly Visitor
Visit the homebound elderly and/or disabled in their home to help alleviate the loneliness and isolation. Free training will be provided.
Office Support
Lend a helping hand in our administrative offices.
Adult Day Center
Opportunities include: help set up, serve and clean up coffee in the morning; help set up, serve and clean up at lunch; or provide an afternoon entertainment or activity program.
Friends of the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills
In addition to hosting annual fundraising events that benefit the Adult Day Center and other VNA programs/services, members of this group volunteer at the Adult Day Center serving morning coffee, lunch or providing afternoon enrichment programs.
Other Events
Lend your time and talents in various ways at other events such our Golf Classic, Christmas Cookie Walk, “A Taste of the Hills” food and wine tasting event, Liberty Corner Run or by assisting at one of our Lifestyle Seminar community education programs.
